1st TERM RETRIEVAL EXAM INSTRUCTIONS AND EXERCISES.

Students who have to prepare and do the retrieval (recuperació ) exam have to follow these instructions :

1) Revise the dossier , the theory and the photocopies we used in class .
2)  Study the vocabulary we studied in the dossier .
3) Do the exercises  under the heading Module 1.Unit 1 in this blog .
    Exercises : A,B,C,D,F,J,K,L,M,N, Z.1, Z.2, Z.3
    You can print them or write the answers in  your notebook .

IMPORTANT :

Before doing the Retrieval ( recuperació ) exam , you must give to the teacher the blog exercises and a list of the vocabulary we studied in the dossier .


NOTE :

Students who have a  5 in the 1st Term Final Mark must also do these  exercises to reinforce  and revise the studied contents . It is not optional , it is compulsory. You must give the exercises to your teacher before the 18th of January .

1st TERM RETRIEVAL EXAM

1st Term Retrieval Exam instructions 

1) Students have to prepare and review the contents from Units 1 and 2 ( Dossiers 1 & 2 ) .

2) Do all the activities from the dossier . Remember that you have to work with the English   
    Department website    http://www.theyellowsubmarine.eu/. Go to ESO 1& 2, then ESO 1 and
    Modules 1 & 2 . All the activities  are there.

3) Make a list of the vocabulary we have seen in Module 1 & 2 .

3) Grammar contents you have to prepare : To be & to have got ( affirmatives, negatives and
    interrogatives ), Personal pronouns ( subject & object ) , Possessives ( adjectives & pronouns ),
    The Present Simple  negatives , affirmatives and interrogatives, Question words ( what, who ...)

4) If you want to do Extra work  to prepare the exam , you can also do the activities in the blog
    Isabel´s blogsite    http://isabelblogsite.blogspot.com.es/  Units 1 & 2.  This work is optional  but
    it can help you prepare the exam.

IMPORTANT  : The activities must be given to the teacher before doing the exam.

JUNE RETRIEVAL EXAM AND PUJADA DE NOTA

INSTRUCTIONS TO PREPARE THE JUNE RETRIEVAL EXAM 

Students who have to do the Retrieval / Recuperació exam must prepare all the contents studied during this school year . 

Make a revision on grammar structures like Present ( Simple and Continuous ), Wh- questions and particles . Personal Pronouns ( Subject and Object ) , Possessives , Simple Past and Present Perfect , Past Simple and Past Continuous,Future ( Will / Be going to +infinitive ) , Comparatives , If -clauses ( conditional types 0, 1 and subtypes ) 

Apart from this you have to revise the contents on vocabulary and writing from the units . 

To practice you can do the exercises under the heading " June Retrieval Exam . Recuperació Juny " on this same blog .

        TO IMPROVE YOUR MARK 

If you want to improve your mark , you have to prepare the syllabus and topics of the studied units . The exam consists of an oral exam in which the teachers are going to ask you questions and in which you have to defend different points of view .

Make sure that you tell your teacher before .

COOPERATIVE  OR GROUP WORK

Cooperative or group work implies that all the members in the group must fulfill the tasks and the corresponding part the have been assigned. Collaborative work implies "all members " work , so remember to make sure that all of your follow the group coordinator instructions . 

In the oral presentation  the group task is going to be important but indivudual preparation is also going to be essential . 

Remember to prepare well your presentation focussing on your tone of voice , intonation , pronuntiation , vocabulary and grammar structures and audience engagement and control .

                 MY ECO HOUSE

               Instructions to prepare the power point presentation .

1)      Introduction : Present the topic giving generals details  about the house .    

     2)      Explanation :

-          Type of house , extension  or length , situation...

-          House caracteristics ( rooms , facilities …)

-          House Materials :  You have to mention the material , explaining what  they consist of , why you choose them , where you use them , etc…

-        Explain why you think  your house is ecological  . Support your answers and give reasons to use  this type of house in the future .

     3)      Make a brief summary of the Project . Mention the points you like most and     the ones you didn´t like a lot . Support you answers . Mention how much   you liked the Project and why .
